This is the best way to explore the Salzburg countryside and will take you to the most beautiful and remote places. Relaxing on the Ennsradweg or adventurous downhill on the designated mountain bike routes – with the bike you discover the breathtaking nature and get to know Salzburg from another side.
Hiking
It is the indescribable feeling of freedom and satisfaction as soon as you have climbed a new peak that makes vacations in Salzburger Land so special. Altenmarkt-Zauchensee – certified as a hiking village – offers beginners and hiking professionals alike the right hiking route. Golf
Only a few minutes by car from your apartment is the Radstadt golf course. The Birdie-Jet – the world’s only golf gondola that takes the golfer including golf bag from tee 11 to tee 12 – is the absolute highlight of this golf course. But also the sensational view of the surrounding mountain panorama makes the golf courses in Salzburg Pongau something very special. The spacious training facility incl. of the 9 holes par 3 course is available for golf professionals as well as beginners and makes every golfer’s heart beat faster.
Swimming
On hot summer days, nothing does you more good than a dip in the cold water. A trip to a nearby lake or the Radstadt swimming pool will cool you down and invite you to linger and splash around. Enjoy some downtime in the shade and relax with a book at the poolside.
Thermal bath
Splash game is also the order of the day in summer at the Therme Amadé in Altenmarkt. Outside and inside, the best way to cool off is to jump into the water. Various slides, the 3m diving tower and the wave pool ensure action and the themed saunas, a hamam and a steam bath provide the necessary relaxation and tranquility.

Geisterberg

Gnadenalm Obertauern
If the weather is nice, we recommend a trip to the Gnadenalm. In the midst of beautiful nature that will amaze you, you will find a circular trail between Radstadt and Obertauern.
Jägersee Kleinarl
Both by car and by bike you can reach the natural Jägersee in Kleinarl. The mountain lake is known for its crystal clear, light blue water and the adjacent nature reserve.
